Refund Policy

Last updated: 8/20/2026

Note to BH before publishing: Two decision points are flagged inline with [[ ]] — the refund window length and the governing-law jurisdiction. Everything else resolves the contradictions and gaps from the previous version. This has not been reviewed by a lawyer; if you have or expect customers in the EU/UK, get the Lifetime Deal clause checked against their mandatory 14-day digital-goods cooling-off rules before you publish.

1. General Policy

All fees paid for subscriptions, products, or services offered by BlogHunch ("Company," "we," "us") are non-refundable, except as expressly set out in this Refund Policy. By purchasing, you acknowledge and accept this policy.

If you experience an issue with our services, please contact us first at support@bloghunch.com. We will make every reasonable effort to resolve the issue. If we are unable to resolve it to your satisfaction, and your purchase falls within the refund window described below, we will issue a refund. Outside of the circumstances described in this policy, no refund will be issued.

2. Subscription Plans (Monthly & Yearly)

We offer a money-back guarantee of [[14 / 7]] days from the date of purchase on Monthly and Yearly recurring plans.

  • Refund requests must be submitted to support@bloghunch.com within this window.
  • Requests made after the window has closed will not be considered.
  • This guarantee applies once per customer per plan tier and does not reset on renewal.

(Editorial note: the original policy stated 14 days in one place and 7 days in another. Pick one — I've defaulted the number to 14 in the heading above since it's a friendlier customer-facing figure, but swap it if 7 was intentional.)

2.1 Exclusions from this guarantee

No refund will be issued, even within the window above, if any of the following apply:

  • Your account was suspended for suspicious, fraudulent, or abusive activity.
  • You violated our Terms of Service or Privacy Policy.
  • You did not cancel your subscription prior to a renewal billing date.
  • The plan was purchased at a special, discounted, or promotional price.
  • You changed your mind after purchase — including purchasing by mistake, or deciding the product isn't what you wanted, or that you'd prefer a different tool.
  • You are requesting a refund because a specific feature is unavailable. All current features are listed on our sales pages; if a requested feature isn't on our roadmap, we may decline to build it, but this is not treated as a product defect and is not grounds for a refund.
  • The purchase is for the BlogHunch Agency plan or Premium plan — these are excluded from the refund guarantee entirely, regardless of when the request is made.
  • The purchase is a Lifetime Deal or a Lifetime Deal upgrade (see Section 3).

3. Lifetime Deal (LTD) Purchases — Final Sale

All Lifetime Deal purchases are final and non-refundable, without exception, including:

  • The original Lifetime Deal purchase, at any tier.
  • Any upgrade payment made to move from one Lifetime Deal tier to a higher one.
  • Any add-on or bundle purchased alongside a Lifetime Deal.

This applies regardless of usage, satisfaction, or reason for the request. Because Lifetime Deal pricing reflects a significant, one-time discount in exchange for permanent access, we do not offer a trial window, pro-rated refund, or partial refund on these purchases under any circumstance.

Try before you commit: we offer a free plan with access to core features so you can evaluate BlogHunch before purchasing a Lifetime Deal. We strongly recommend using the free plan first, or contacting support@bloghunch.com with questions, before committing to a lifetime purchase — since no refund will be available afterward.

4. How to Request a Refund

  1. Email support@bloghunch.com with your account email and order details.
  2. Our team will attempt to resolve the underlying issue first.
  3. If the issue can't be resolved and your purchase qualifies under Section 2, we'll confirm and process the refund to your original payment method.
  4. Approved refunds are typically processed within [X] business days.

5. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The version in effect at the time of your purchase governs that purchase. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date above.

6. Governing Law

This Refund Policy is governed by the laws of [[India / other jurisdiction — confirm]], without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Nothing in this policy limits any statutory right you may have under the mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence, where applicable.

Affiliate Terms and Conditions

Promote BlogHunch subscriptions and earn up to 30% recurring commission on qualifying sales.

Commission Basics

  • Commission is earned only when a referred lead converts into a paying customer — not for clicks or signups alone.
  • Commissions are paid only after they have been approved (see "Approval & Disapproval" below).
  • Affiliate accounts may be suspended for violating these terms.
  • We do not credit commissions for traffic driven via coupon/discount sites, or via Google Ads or Bing Ads run by affiliates. Sales attributed to affiliate-run paid search ads are excluded from commission calculations.

Suspension Triggers

Your affiliate account may be suspended if:

  • Brand bidding is practiced. No commission will be paid, and this will be logged as an affiliate malpractice violation.
  • Direct linking is practiced. Several forms of direct linking exist — contact support@bloghunch.com before starting this kind of promotion to avoid an avoidable suspension.

When a Sale May Not Be Credited

  • The customer's browser does not accept cookies (unless a dedicated affiliate referral coupon code is used instead).
  • The sale is later refunded — in which case the associated commission is reversed.
  • The customer completes the purchase more than 30 days after clicking your affiliate link (our cookie window is 30 days).
  • The customer clicks a different affiliate's link after clicking yours, and then purchases. We use a last-click attribution model — the most recent affiliate link clicked before purchase receives the credit.

Commission Rate & Payout Timing

  • Up to 30% recurring commission on qualifying recurring-plan sales.
  • We generate a monthly payout report on the 15th of each month, then review earned commissions. Once approved, payment is issued within 7 days via PayPal or bank transfer.
  • For a commission to be paid, the referred account must remain active for a minimum of 60 days from the date of sale ("payout period"). If the referred customer cancels or is refunded within that period, the commission is not paid.

Self-Referrals

Self-referral for affiliate purposes is strictly prohibited. You'll still receive a system notification when a self-purchase occurs, but the commission on that purchase will not be paid out. Commission is also not payable where the affiliate's and the referred customer's account are on the same custom domain.

Approval & Disapproval of Commission

We reserve the right to approve or reject any affiliate commission, in our reasonable discretion, on the following basis:

  • Approved: the referred customer's account remains active and in good standing through the 60-day payout period (or any applicable free-trial period).
  • Disapproved: the referred account is refunded or cancelled, or the affiliate has violated these terms.

Rejected commissions carry no right of appeal or other legal recourse against the Company.

Tax Treatment (India-based Affiliates)

  • Commission payments are inclusive of GST, where applicable based on your registration status. You will need to provide an invoice including your PAN (and GST number, if applicable) for payment to be processed.
  • Payments are made net of TDS, deducted at the rate prescribed under Section 194H of the Income Tax Act as in force at the time of payment (currently 2%, reduced from 5% effective October 2024 — this rate is set by the Government of India and subject to change; check the prevailing rate rather than relying on a fixed figure here).
  • TDS deducted is deposited against your PAN. If your total income falls below the taxable threshold, you may claim a refund of the deducted TDS directly from the Income Tax Department.
